"How much does a website cost?" is the most searched question in this business and the one fewest people answer in public. You open an agency's site, look for the price and find a button: "request a quote", "book a call", "let's talk". This article does the opposite: it gives you real 2026 market ranges, explains why so many people hide the price, and tells you — in numbers — what it costs with us. No call required.
Real market ranges in 2026
Ballpark prices for a business website (not a large online shop or a custom application), based on what you see in the Spanish market:
- Doing it yourself with a template: from €0 to about €300 a year in tools. Cheap in euros, expensive in hours, and it usually shows.
- A freelancer: between €600 and €2,500 depending on pages, design and content. Quality varies a lot; it depends on the person.
- A classic agency: from €2,500 to well over €10,000, with long processes and, often, a separate maintenance fee.
- An "all-in-one" platform: a monthly fee (from €50 to several hundred) that never ends, with the real price hidden behind a sales call.
The ranges are wide because "a website" can mean many things. What matters isn't guessing the exact number: it's knowing what you get for it and on what terms.
Why so many people don't publish their price
There are three reasons, and none of them work in your favour:
- The price depends on you. If they listen first and price later, the quote adjusts to what they sense you can pay. The same work costs different amounts depending on who's asking.
- The call is the funnel. "Book a strategy session" sounds like advice, but it's a sales meeting. It costs you an hour and puts you in "I'm already in" mode before you've seen a single figure.
- The subscription hides the total. When you pay monthly, nobody adds it up. €90 a month is €1,080 a year and €3,240 over three years — for a website that isn't even yours if you stop paying.
Our price: public, fixed, and before we talk
We publish our prices on the pricing page, full stop. The Express plan starts at €600, delivered in 48 hours, and every other plan lists exactly what's included. If you want the exact price of your project without talking to anyone, the configurator works it out in a minute: pick a package and extras and see the final figure before you've even given us your email.
What «fixed price» means here
Before we start: you know the total. No hourly billing, no surprises at the end.
Payment: a deposit on acceptance and the rest on delivery. No mandatory monthly fee.
The site is yours: code, content and domain in your name. If you ever leave, you take it with you.
Speed measured, not promised: we deliver with real load figures, like our case Olvidos: from 5.4 to 2.4 seconds.
SEO guarantee: if your rankings drop after the migration, we fix it for free.
Five questions to ask before paying for a website
Whoever you work with, ask these before you sign:
- What's the total price, in writing? If the answer starts with "it depends", keep asking until you get a number.
- Is there a monthly fee? What happens if I stop paying it? If the site disappears, it was never yours: it was a rental.
- Is the domain registered in my name? A domain in the agency's name is a leash.
- Can I take the site elsewhere? Export the content and the code, not a PDF of screenshots.
- Will you give me speed figures? A "fast" website with no measured numbers is an opinion.
A fixed price isn't always the cheapest. It's the one you know before you start — and that's the one that lets you actually compare. Comparing "from €600" with "book a call" isn't comparing: it's guessing.
So, how much does a website cost?
It costs what you're told before you start plus what it costs you afterwards in fees, maintenance and hours. If the first isn't published and the second isn't added up, you don't know the price: you only know the bait. We've broken down the second part in what it really costs to run a WordPress site each year, in case you want to put numbers on your current site.
If you want to know what your website would cost without talking to anyone, use the configurator: the price comes out fixed and in writing. And if you'd rather we look at your current site first, the audit is free and also comes with numbers.
